What is Featured Membership?
Featured Teachers are premium members on Seekooh. When you become a Featured Teacher, your profile gets a visible badge, a higher position in search results, earlier access to new job listings, and a reduced credit cost when contacting students — all for as little as $1 per month.
It is not about being a better teacher. It is about being found more easily, responding faster, and spending less to grow your student base.
Two teachers — Sara and Ahmed — both teach O-Level Maths. A student posts a new job. Ahmed is Featured, so he gets an alert immediately and applies while the listing is fresh. Sara sees it 2 hours later. By then, the student has already replied to Ahmed and scheduled a demo. Being Featured gave Ahmed the head start that led to the hire.
1. Featured Badge on Your Profile
A gold ★ Featured badge appears clearly on your profile. When students browse the teacher list, this badge immediately signals that you are a committed, active teacher on the platform — which builds trust before they even read your bio.

Zara and Bilal appear at the top simply because they are Featured. Hina and Usman may be equally qualified, but students scroll past them less often than you would expect.

Featured Teachers are more visible on the platform. Students and institutes can find you through search and contact you directly — without you spending any credits at all. This means inbound inquiries come to you, instead of you always having to reach out.
A private institute in Dubai is looking for an online Urdu teacher for their students. They search Seekooh, filter by Featured teachers, and find your profile near the top. They click "Contact Teacher" and send you a message. You did not spend a single credit — the Featured ranking brought the opportunity directly to you.
5. Advanced Notifications for Easier Platform Access
Featured Teachers receive real-time, advanced notifications — for new job listings, student messages, profile views, and platform updates. These keep you active on the platform without having to log in and check manually throughout the day.
Notifications can be received via email, browser, or the Seekooh app — whichever suits your routine.
You are at home between classes. A student in the UK posts a Chemistry tutoring request — your exact subject. Within seconds, your phone shows a Seekooh notification. 6. Fewer Credits When Contacting Students
Featured Teachers pay fewer credits than regular teachers when sending messages to students. Your credits go further — you can reach more students for the same spend, or simply save money while staying active.
Contacting a student normally costs 10 credits for a regular teacher. As a Featured Teacher, the same contact costs 6 credits — a 40% saving. If you contact 20 students in a month, that is 80 credits saved. Over a year, that is nearly 1,000 credits — which is effectively additional outreach at no extra cost.
7. Featured Membership Renews Every Month
Featured Membership is a monthly subscription. It renews automatically on the 1st of every month, keeping your badge, ranking, early alerts, and credit discounts active continuously. You can cancel or change your plan at any time before the next renewal — no lock-in, no penalty.
You start Featured Membership on April 10th. On May 1st it renews automatically. If your schedule is full in May and you do not need extra exposure, you can cancel before May 1st. Your benefits remain active until May 1st, and you will not be charged again after that. No paperwork, no fees.
8. How Much Does Featured Membership Cost?
Featured Membership starts from as little as $1 USD per month. Even at the lowest tier, you rank above all free (non-Featured) members. The more you invest, the higher your ranking among other Featured Teachers and the longer your early-access window on new listings.

Why invest more rather than less?
You do not have to — unless there is competition in your subject and city. With a higher plan:
- You rank higher among other Featured Teachers in search results
- You get an earlier alert window on new job listings than Featured Teachers on lower plans

In a city with 5 Featured Maths teachers, the one on the $10 plan ranks #1 in search. The one on the $1 plan ranks #5 — still above all free members, but behind the other 4 Featured ones. If your subject is competitive (Maths, English, IELTS, coding), a higher plan delivers a real, measurable edge over other Featured teachers.
Is Featured Membership mandatory?
No. You can teach and grow on Seekooh as a free member. However, Featured Teachers consistently receive more profile views, more direct student inquiries, and more hirings — particularly in subjects and cities with active competition.
